Ken and Betty Krebbs
Two threads woven together, Ken and Betty are unique strands of different intertwining fibers. Ken from Texas and Betty from New York, but both with painting mothers and creative siblings, meet in El Paso while working in the display department at The Popular Dry Goods department store. Throughout their nearly 50 years together, art is always in their lives. Sometimes the weave is plain and others more intricate patterns emerge. Ken focuses on painting in oil while Betty enjoys pastels and watercolor, working on intensely independent projects yet sharing time in the studio. Now they look forward to showing art together, creating a new pattern in the fabric of their life.
