Rebecca Rousseau

Rebecca Rousseau received her B.A. in Education from UNC, Chapel Hill.  Her professional experience includes painting prolifically and teaching art.  She is currently  a member of Agave Arts in Mesilla Plaza. Her work is greatly influenced by the bright colors of 20th century Latin American art.  In addition to working as a painter, Rebecca has taught art at Gallery 925 in Las Cruces,  NC Art Museum, the Grant County Art Guild, Sheridan Wyoming’s Art Guild, and in various psychiatric hospitals and memory loss centers. Spreading the joy of art has always been one of her major goals.  She currently resides in Las Cruces, NM and enjoys the many art venues here.
